The Congress Party has dropped Barabati-Cuttack MLA Mohammed Moquim from the list of Star Campaigners for Dhamnagar Bypoll.

Former Minister Pratap Jena and Odisha SME Minister Samir Ranjan Dash have been excluded from the list of Star Campaigners for Dhamnagar.

In 2019, he was denied a ticket by the Congress owing to some conspiracy within his own party. He joined the BJD and helped Debesh Acharya.
