As Omicron cases continue to rise, the Delhi government on Tuesday imposed lockdown-like restrictions across the city to combat the further spread of the new variant.

India has logged 695 cases of the Omicron variant of coronavirus across 22 states and UTs so far out of which 230 have recovered or migrated, active cases recorded at 465 according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Tuesday.

The Union Health Ministry on Monday issued comprehensive guidelines for COVID-19 vaccination of children between 15-18 years.
