Odisha Government on Wednesday announced that morning classes will be held across the State from April 2, 2025.

The city is experiencing a prolonged heatwave with extreme temperatures to persist until the end of June

Even though the heatwave and humidity continue to prevail in Odisha, the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar forecast rain in several parts of the State from June 21.

Sambalpur and Bhubaneswar have been particularly affected, registering scorching temperatures of 46.1 degree C and 44.3 degree C, respectively.

While the frequent power outage has made the lives miserable in the capital city, Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi decided to take up the power outage issue.

Heat Wave conditions can result in physiological strain, which could even result in death.

There has been no respite from the extreme heat conditions dubbed as the heat wave across multiple states, and Odisha has been enduring this quite the same.
