Cyclonic Storm

As per the latest information, Cyclone Gulab, which has started its landfall, may not have any big impact on Odisha.

During the Cyclonic Storm, wind speed may be around 70-80 kmph gusting to 90 kmph. 7 districts in Odisha may witness very heavy rainfall.

Very heavy rains up to 7-12 cm are likely on September 19-20 in Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar districts.

Odisha CM sets focus on mass evacuation in affected areas to prevent any loss of life in the event of the cyclone.
