The Omicron cases in India continue to rise with the total tally at 1315. One person succumbed to the virus yesterday.

Odisha Government via SRC, has banned picnics for the entire month of January 2022. There won't be any picnic at Parks, Nature Clubs, Beaches and other Picnic Spots.

Odisha today reported five more Omicron cases, taking the tally to 14. Earlier, nine foreign returnees had tested positive for Omicron variant of COVID-19 in Odisha.

Odisha has reported four more Omicron cases, taking the number of new variant cases to 8. They are said to be stable.

Odisha Government on Friday imposed restrictions which will remain in force from December 25, 2021 to January 2, 2022.

Odisha on Thursday reported two more cases of Omicron variant of Covid-19. With this, the number of Omicron cases in the State rose to 4.

The number of Omicron cases in India has gone up to 153 with detection of 6 more cases in Maharashtra which now leads the pack with 54 cases.

There is a good news. At least 5 out of 7 Omicron Covid positive patients in Pune turned negative in the latest test results, signalling at a faster recovery for the new variant.
