A low-pressure area has been formed over the Northwest coast of Odisha on Thursday under the influence of cyclonic circulation, informed the India Meteorological Department (MD).

In view of the assessment of IMD, the SRC, Odisha has directed all Collectors and Municipal Commissioners to remain prepared to face any situation.
