TNI Bureau: After an eventful day yesterday, the power services were finally restored across India even though low voltage and load shedding are still being reported from some parts of the country.
The blackout affected over 600 million people across 20 states, including Northern and Eastern India. The outage occurred due to the collapse of Northern, Eastern and North-Eastern grids.
Yesterday’s power outage was considered as the worst in the history of world and it was not attributed to any natural calamity.
