Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra finishes 2nd in Lausanne Diamond League with his Season Best of 89.49m.

Neeraj could not win the Gold, but he won a Silver, bringing huge relief to the Indian Sports fans. At least we managed to win a second position in any event.

Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra made an impressive comeback from injury on Friday, writing history at the Lausanne Diamond League (August 26).

Neeraj posted a video on Twitter on Thursday, claiming that there's nothing wrong with the Pakistani athlete taking his javelin.

India has a total of ten gold medals from the Olympics. Eight of them are from the men's hockey team. Neeraj Chopra is the second individual Gold medallist after Abhinav Bindra.

India had a strong performance at the Tokyo Olympics, winning one Gold, two Silver, and four Bronze medals. 

His wish was fulfilled when Neeraj Chopra won the Javelin Gold yesterday, but Milkha was not there to witness that glory.

With a distance of 87.58 metres, his second throw bettered his first and it was his best throw today.

India witnessed a really thrilling day at the Tokyo Olympics 2020, when Indian sportsperson's competing in the Olympics made the nation very proud.
