Indian benchmark indices on Monday broke 3-day winning record and ended in the red with Nifty around 21,400.

Sensex hit record high of 71,605 to end at 71,483 on December 15, while NSE Nifty 50 shut shop at 21,456 hitting a record high of 21,492 towards the end of trading session.

The S&P BSE Sensex ended 929.60 points higher at 70,514.20, while the NSE Nifty50 was up 256.35 points to settle at 21,182.70.

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended higher by 33.57 points or 0.05% at 69,584.60 level while the Nifty 50 closed at 20,926.35 level, up 19.95 points or 0.1%.
