Opinion Polls predict BJP Government in Maharashtra
Two opinion polls today have given a thumbs up to the BJP to win Maharashtra in a five-cornered contest. Shiv Sena may emerge as the main opposition party, while Congress and NCP may lose badly in the race. There won’t be any change to MNS’ seat share.
According to Hansa opinion poll, BJP will get a comfortable majority of 154 in the 288-member assembly, while Shiv Sena may end up at just 47 seats. Congress could win 25 seats followed by NCP (17) and MNS (10).

The survey also revealed that 74% of people have expressed satisfaction over the performance of Narendra Modi government at the centre.
Both surveys confirmed the Modi Wave in Maharashtra and agreed that BJP’s victory in Maharashtra would be attributed to none other than Narednra Modi, who is taking a whirlwind tour of the state to campaign for the party.
