Narendra Modi meets PM, discusses Gujarat’s Development
TNI Bureau: BJP poster boy Narendra Modi met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday for the first time after he was re-elected as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. He met Dr Singh at 7, Race Course Road and discussed Gujarat’s development.
Modi raised several issues like Sardar Sarovar Dam and gas prices with Prime Minister. He demanded Gujarat should get gas at the same rate as Delhi and Mumbai. After the meeting, Modi said that the PM has assured him to give all help for Gujarat’s development. He said that his meeting with Dr Singh was good.
Modi’s meeting with PM can be viewed positively. But everyone’s eyes are on the speech that Modi is going to deliver at the Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) on the Gujarat model of development. Later, he will be leaving for the Kumbh in Allahabad next week.
