Deepak Bhardwaj Murder Case: Son Arrested
In an ongoing investigation into the murder case of real estate tycoon Deepak Bhardwaj, Delhi police have arrested his son Nitish for conspiracy of the murder. Bhardwaj’s wife is already being questioned in the case. Police suspected his family’s involvement in the killing of the billionaire BSP leader.
Along with Nitish, two others – Neeraj (Nitesh’s friend) and Baljeet, who is the family lawyer – have been arrested in connection with the murder case. Police suspected that a property dispute between son and father could have led to his death.
However, Swami Pratibhanand, one of the main accused in the case, is still absconding. He had allegedly plotted to kill Bhardwaj. According to police, the plan to kill the politician was made in January and March this year. Bhardwaj was gunned down on March 26. Since then, Swami Pratibhanand is changing hideouts to avoid arrest.
The accused is a resident of Beed district in Maharashtra. He is suspected to have travelled to various locations in Maharashtra, Mathura in Uttar Pradesh, Haridwar in Uttrakhand, Indore in Madhya Pradesh, Bangalore in Karnataka, Patna in Bihar, and Kolkata in West Bengal since the murder.
