IPL 6: Delhi win by 15 Runs
The good bowling from Irfan Pathan and Umesh Yadav helped Delhi beat Pune by 15 runs in Raipur on Sunday. It was Delhi’s second victory in the ongoing IPL 6.
Chasing 165, Pune lost the game after struggling a lot. Both the openers made 37 each, while Yuvraj scored 31. Luke Wright and Steven Smith fought hard, but could not take the game forward. The team scored 149/4 (20.0 Ovs).
Pune had won the toss, but elected to field first. Delhi finished well with Kedar Jadhav (25) and David Warner (51) playing really well. Sehwag was out making 28 off 26 balls. The team were restricted to 164/5 (20.0 Ovs).
Pathan and Yadav’s bowling did not allow Pune to reach the target. They both collected 2 wickets each. David Warner was the MoM for unbeaten 51 off 25 balls.
