Terrorists attack ASF Camp at Karachi Airport
Less than 48 hours after the deadly terror attack, which claimed the lives of 28 people, including 10 militants, the Taliban militants launched another daring attack on the Airport Security Force (ASF) camp at the Jinnah Airport in Karachi. They are armed with rocket launchers, grenades and high calibre guns.
The attack has taken place on Camp No. 2 at the Karachi Airport, which houses a hospital and residential buildings. Pakistan ASF and Rangers have taken possession of the operation. The firing is still going on. Efforts are on to flush out the militants. Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif has ordered his forces to eliminate all terrorists without mercy.
The attackers reportedly want to hijack planes and take hostages, but the ASF, Rangers and Sky Marshals with the help of fighter choppers are trying their best to foil their design.
Latest Update: The terrorists have fled the area after failing to penetrate. A massive manhunt has been launched to nab them. Some Pakistani TV channels have reported that five people have been killed in the attack.
