The S&P BSE Sensex jumped 204 points, or 0.31 per cent, to end at 66,174 levels.

BSE Sensex was up 275.62 points or 0.42 percent at 65,930.77, and the Nifty was up 89.40 points or 0.45 percent at 19,783.40 in the closing bell today.

Key indices Nifty50 climbed over 150 points to trade above 17,000 levels and the S&P BSE Sensex jumped over 450 points to trade at 57,149 levels.

The 30-share BSE Sensex tanked 608.8 points to 56,498.72 in the early trade on Wednesday.
