BSE Sensex

Today, domestic equity markets hit higher intra-day trade amid mixed global cues and strong foreign flows.

The 30-share BSE Sensex index was down 288.8 points to 57,138.12 in early trade, and the broader NSE Nifty-50 index declined 79.4 points to 17,014.95.

Key indices Nifty50 climbed over 150 points to trade above 17,000 levels and the S&P BSE Sensex jumped over 450 points to trade at 57,149 levels.

The 30-share BSE Sensex tanked 608.8 points to 56,498.72 in the early trade on Wednesday.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty benchmark indices had a gap-down start on Monday amid a direct decline in rupee and rising recession fears.

The BSE Sensex closed at 53,749.26, down 303.35 points or 0.56 per cent and the Nifty 50 closed at 16,025.80, down 99.35 points or 0.62 per cent.

The 30-share BSE Sensex fell 236 points or 0.43 per cent to close at 54,053, while the broader NSE Nifty moved 90 points or 0.55 per cent down to settle at 16,125.

The 30-share BSE Sensex fell 38 points or 0.07 per cent to close at 54,289, while the broader NSE Nifty moved 51 points or 0.32 per cent down to settle at 16,215.

The S&P BSE Sensex jumped 1,534 points, or 2.91 per cent, to end at 54,326, while the Nifty50 shut shop at 16,266, up 457 points or 2.89 per cent. 

The 30-share BSE Sensex dived 1,416 points or 2.61 per cent to close at 52,792, while the broader NSE Nifty moved 431 points or 2.65 per cent down to settle at 15,809.
