Droupadi Murmu took oath as India's 15th President, the highest constitutional post of the country on Monday.

The other 9 MLAs who voted for Opposition candidate Yashwant Sinha, included 8 from the Congress and lone CPM MLA Laxman Munda (Bonai).

Former Governor of Jharkhand and NDA nominee Droupadi Murmu has been elected as the 15th President of India. She made history as first tribal President of India.
