Pakistani Jawan gunned down at LoC
TNI Bureau: A Pakistani soldier was killed by Indian troops at the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. Army officials said that the Pak soldier had crossed the LoC.
The Indian Army agreed to return the body of the soldier on the request of Pakistan Army.
The Pak Army on Thursday had informed Indian Army that about their soldier. He had inadvertently crossed the LoC and the contact was being established with Indian authorities, the Pak army said.
He had allegedly lost his way on Thursday afternoon and crossed the LoC. However, he was gunned down by Indian army. The incident occurred after both sides claimed ceasefire violations in January.
