India restrict Pakistan to 250, Jamshed hits Ton
TNI Bureau: Nashir Jamshed scored became the second batsman after Zaheer Abbas to hit three consecutive hundreds against India, but Pakistan failed to cash on the good start and bowled out for 250 in 48.3 overs in the second ODI at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Pakistani openers put up excellent display of batting after losing the toss. They added 141 runs for the first wicket. However, Indian bowlers struck back after that and reduced their scoring rate. Jamshed scored his second hundred of the series. He was out for 106. Hafeez made 76. Shoaib Malik contributed 24.
Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets each for India. India were 6/0 after the first over when reports last received.
