Chandrababu Naidu shares Dais with Narendra Modi
It’s almost official that Chandrababu Naiidu’s TDP is all set to return to the BJP-led NDA fold! Ending weeks of speculations, Naidu shared the dais with Narendra Modi at an event in New Delhi and showered praise on the latter, admiring his administrative and leadership skills.
Naidu and Modi spoke at a programme organised for college students. Eminent lawyer Ram Jethmalani was also present there. Naidu held the Congress-led UPA for the declining economy and called on the people to defeat the party in 2014 elections.
Chandrababu Naidu recalled the development during the NDA regime under Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s rule. He minced no words to lambast the Congress and said the country is going through a crisis under the UPA rule.
He also took a dig at the Prime Minister, saying Manmohan has become a tool in the hands of Sonia Gandhi. Chandrababu also praised Modi, saying “earlier people used to talk only about Hyderabad. Now everyone talks only about (economic) development in Gujarat.”
