Chandrababu Naidu evicted from Fast Venue
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu has been forced to end his fast at the Andhra Bhawan, as he was forcibly taken out of the fast venue and admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.
Thousands of Naidu’s protesters tried to obstruct the police, but in vain. Naidu had been on a fast since October 7 (Monday) to protest the manner in which the Congress-led UPA decided to carve out a separate Telangana state by bifurcating Andhra Pradesh.
The cops persuaded Naidu to agree to be taken to the RML hospital after a series of discussion. Naidu’s health was deteriorating fast, which forced the police to take this action.
