During his recent visit to the United States, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi got an opportunity to take a drive with US President Barack Obama in the latter’s Limousine. The car is not an ordinary one. It costs 185,000 pounds (US$ 300,000).
Known as ‘The Beast’, the black Cadillac can withstand attacks from rocket-propelled grenades. It is the most technologically advanced bullet-proof vehicle in the world. The Beast is fitted with all types of conceivable defence mechanism. They include bullet-proof glass, teargas canisters and shot-guns. Obama will carry this car when he visits the UK and Ireland this week.

The car driven by an expert CIA Agent, has wheels to carry on even if the tyres are blown off. The weight of the car is three tonnes. It has the maximum speed of just 60 miles per hour. Interestingly, the Cadillac also has supplies of Obama’s blood on board in case he is shot and needs an emergency transfusion.
It also has a advance communication system to enable the President run the United States while seating in the rear seat. He can also open the direct line to Vice President Joe Biden and the Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon at just the touch of a button.
