Spinner Rahul Sharma has landed in deep trouble after a special NDPS court in Mumbai charges him of drug abuse at a rave party in Juhu during the IPL 5 last year. Along with Rahul, South African cricketer Wayne Parnell was also made an accused in the charge sheet.

Rahul and Wayne Parnell played for the Pune Warriors India in IPL 2012. They and 86 others, including celebrities and industrialists were arrested for taking drugs at the rave party on the fateful night of May 20, 2012. The celebrity couple Apoorva Agnihotri and Shilpa Agnihotri are also made accused.
The police had filed a 1,200-page charge sheet against the accused under various sections of the IPC.
