Pujara hits Ton, puts India on Top in Hyderabad Test
TNI Bureau: Cheteshwar Pujara, who called called in to fill Rahul Dravid’s shoes as the No. 3 batsman, scored his maiden Test hundred to put India in command in the first test match against New Zealand in Hyderabad.
Pujara and Kohli added 125 runs for the fourth wicket to take India to 307/5 at stumps on Day 1. Pujara remained unbeaten on 119, while Kohli made 58. Sehwag scored 47 off 41 balls. Dhoni is still batting on 29. For the Kiwis, Trent Boult took two wickets.
