India ‘A’ has No Spinners against England in Warm-Up Game
TNI Bureau: The visiting England side was taken aback to see the composition of India ‘A’ team, which does not have a single spinner. India ‘A’ would take on England in a three-day warm-up game to be played in Mumbai from October 30.
England will play a four-Test match series, five ODIs and two T20 matches in India tour. Former England skipper Michael Vaughan and former cricketer David Llyod have slammed India for this unprecedented decision. Vaughan accused the BCCI of adopting unethical tactics to damage the spirit of the game.
The 14-member India ‘A’ team comprises of pacers – Irfan Pathan, Vinay Kumar, Parwinder Awana and Ashok Dinda.
