Chennai beat Rajasthan by Five Wickets
It was a wonderful moment for the Chennai Super Kings and Dwayne Bravo erupted in a dance on the ground as the team beat Rajasthan Royals by five wickets in the ongoing IPL 6 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, on Monday.
The entire team rushed to the ground to greet Bravo and Morris, who hit two runs (required two runs in two balls) in last over. The dance Bravo did after the game is called the ‘Chakka Chakka’ dance!’The total score was 186/5 in 19.5 Ovs.
The team was under pressure when MS Dhoni (caught by Binny bowled by Faulkner 21(16) was out when it was requiring 11 runs from 6 balls. However, the cheer for the team poured in after Bravo hit a big six and the runs were reduced to four runs. Later, Bravo took two runs and was looking confident to score another two runs off two balls.
Initially, Michael Hussey and Suresh Raina (51 off 35 balls) had led the team to victory with maximum score. Michael Hussey was the Man of the Match for scoring 88 runs from 51 balls. He hit 13 boundaries and 1 six during his stay on the ground.
From Rajasthan side, James Faulkner took the highest wickets taker (3) Ajit Chandila took only one wicket against Chennai in the tournament. The team won the toss and elected to bat first. Watto played well. They scored 185/4 (20.0 Ovs). Chasing the target 186, Chennai finally won the match.
