TNI Bureau: Popular celebrity ‘Mama-bhanja’pair of Bollywood, Aamir Khan and Imran Khan will be seen sharing the screen in Raj Kumar Hirani’s upcoming film ‘Peekay’.
As per a bollywood buzz, earlier the role of Imran had been offered to first Ranbir Kapoor and then Ranveer Singh, but both of them refused to play the second fiddle to Aamir in the film. But when Imran was approached, he accepted it with ease. Imran’s name was suggested by Aamir. In this way finally the Mama-Bhanja pair teamed up together for the first time.

One of the best identities of Imran is – he is nephew of Aamir Khan. Imran had entered Bollywood acting in ‘Jane Tu… Ya Jana Na’, an Aamir Khan production. He had also worked in Amir’s production ‘Delhi Belly ’.
Raj Kumar Hirani, who is a debutant in the film, as a sole producer, had last done ‘3 idiots’, where he had analyzed the faulty education system among others. Yet, in ‘Peekay’ he is supposed to expose a Goodman. The story of ‘Peekay’ revolves around the corruption affecting our country where Amir plays the role of an alcoholic (Peekay) social crusader.
The film casts Anushka Sharma (in the female lead) apart from Aamir and Imran. ‘Peekay’ has been scheduled to release sometimes next year.
