Sreesanth lands in Spot-Fixing Trouble
In a shocking development, Indian pace bowler S Sreesanth and two others from his Rajasthan Royals team, have been arrested on charges of spot fixing. They were picked up by the special cell of Delhi Police in Mumbai. While Sreesanth was arrested at his friend’s place, Ankit Chavan and Ajit Chandilia were picked up from the team hotel.
The Delhi Police had earlier arrested seven bookies in Mumbai and three others in Delhi in connection with the spot-fixing case. A massive manhunt has been launched to nab the other people involved in this case.
The police have reportedly found strong evidences against these players, which prove their involvement in the spot-fixing scandal. This is for the first time such type of allegations have been labeled against any Test cricketer in the IPL.
S Sreesanth has already played 53 ODIs and 27 Tests for India. This controversy may put an end to his cricket career forever, which was already marred by several wrong reasons.
