Chitrangada Singh, who rocked with her performance in ‘Inkar’ and ‘Desi Boyz’, has reportedly filed for divorce. Wife of Indian golfer Jyoti Singh Randhawa, Chitrangada had a troubled family life and many things were speculated about it since a while.
The actress has reportedly filed for divorce at Gurgaon court on 9th May. As per a leading publication, a lawyer said in the court that both Chitrangada and her husband had hired lawyers from Delhi to keep the matter secret and out of reach of media.

Chitra was married to Jyoti in 2001 and the couple has a 12 year son, Zorawar. Their case was reportedly heard in the family Court of District Judge Baljit Singh, Gurgaon. The Court advised the duo to go back over their decision before proceeding further. The matter has been fixed to be heard on the next date on 11 November 2013.
Chitrangada, who has a few numbers of films to her credit like – Sorry Bhai, Basra, I Me Aur Mein, Joker, Desi Boyz etc. began her career in Delhi as a model and subsequently debuted as an actor in Sudhir Mishra’s film ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’ in 2003. Then she acted in ‘Kal: Yesterday and Tomorrow’ and debuted as an item girl in Shirish Kunder’s ‘Joker’. However Desi Boyz and Inkaar brought her optimum success.
