Yuvraj Singh returns with Ton vs West Indies A
India A Skipper Yuvraj Singh signalled his return to international cricket after a brief lull with a scintillating hundred against the West Indies A in the first unofficial ODI in Bangalore.
Yuvraj, who played his last ODI in January 2013, was ruthless in his approach after being greeted with a bouncer from Andre Russell. Yuvraj scored 123 off 89 balls with 8 boundaries and 7 sixes to power India 312/4 in 50 overs. Yusuf Pathan (70*) and Mandeep Singh (67) were the other top contributors.
Chasing a victory target of 313, West Indies A bowled out for 235 in 39.1 overs and lost the match by 77 runs. Narsingh Deonarine and Ashley Nurse scored 57 each. Sumit Narwal, Vinay Kumar, Rahul Sharma and Yusuf Pathan took two wickets each.
