Why ‘Kochadaiyaan’ special for Deepika Padukone?
TNI Bureau: Deepika Padukone is much excited about ‘Kochadaiyaan’, the first ever Indian film to use the performance-capturing technique, that was extraordinarily used in Hollywood film ‘Avatar’. The film stars South Super Star Rajnikant opposite Deepika and this is the directorial debut of Rajni’s younger daughter Soundarya R. Ashwin.
‘Kochadaiyaan’ is special for Deepika for multiple reasons. The first of them is – the film will have a world-wide release on 12th December this year in four big cities of the world including Japan. So, the film is not just a Tamil film but it is an international work.
Secondly, the film stars South Super star Rajinikanth in the main lead, posed opposite Deepika. In fact she is much excited to work with the God of South Cinema. A little birdie has suggested that during a song sequence, where both the pivotal characters needed to romance, Rajni sir literally felt uncomfortable romancing with the young sexy buddy.
Normally, as per a practice it is seen that elder south heroes are put opposite the young heroines. We saw it in many films including ‘Enthiran’, where Rajini sir romanced with Aishwarya Ray and nobody was worried. Even for ‘The Dirty Picture’, director Milan Luthria took Naseeruddin Shah opposite Vidya Balan to justify the casting. He could have taken any youngster for the role, but it was perfectly cast.
When actually felt uncomfortable posing with sexy Deepi, Rajini asked Soundarya to ease the sizzling scenes a bit. But then Dippy stepped in and alleviated his discomfort and convinced him to shed his reticence and the outcome was mind-blowing.
Thirdly, the film is using the latest cutting-edge technology called the ‘performance
capturing’. ‘Kochadaiyaan’ is also a 3D film. Therefore, the filming is new and needs the actress to know something new and big, to execute shuts at par with the ‘performance capturing technique’, which is much difficult. This point also makes Deepika to take the film as a special one.
However, all the dazzling affect of the film can only be felt on 12th December after the release.
