The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) under the leadership of Naveen Patnaik, has been able to capture 45 NACs and Municipalities in Odisha, including the Berhampur Municipal Corporation in the ULB Polls 2013. Results will be declared at Vyasanagar Municipality tomorrow. Congress has won 12 ULBs. The BJP has won just one.
Several other ULBs have produced mixed results with no clear mandate to any political party. Polls were not held in 10 districts of Western Odisha due to poll boycott by all political parties and lawyers.

In total, the BJD has won 642 seats, while Congress has won just 318 seats. The BJP managed to win only 47 seats, while the Independents won 101 seats. Others have won 10 seats.
