While interacting with the State Chief Ministers, PM Modi has indicated that Lockdown is no longer an option to contain Coronavirus.

India registered a record single-day spike of 1,26,789 new COVID-19 cases, pushing its tally to 1,29,28,574. Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka reported highest active & new daily COVID-19 cases.

India achieved a dubious and grim record today as it became the second country after the USA to report 1 lakh daily Covid-19 cases.
