Bollywood actress Rekha made an impressive appearance in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss Season 8 on Sunday, while promoting her upcoming movie ‘Super Nani’ in the show. Together with show host Salman, Rekha mesmerised one and all by her beauty and grace.
Yesteryear Bollywood heartthrob made a stunning entry in dancing on her hit number ‘Pardesiya’. She also shook a leg on host Salman Khan’s song ‘Dagabaaz Re’ from the movie Dabangg 2. Interestingly, she also performed another dance number on the show from `Suhaag`(1979) which starred Rekha and Amitabh Bachhan in it.
Bollywood hunk Salman kept praising Rekha’s beauty throughout the show and told her that she looks a 18-year-old and kept asking her as to why would she play roles of the mother or grandmother. Rekha’s answer left Salman speechless for few seconds. She said if she was as young as that, then why he had offered her the mother’s role in Dabangg.
Rekha and Salman shared an amazing camaraderie as they involved in leg pulling to each other with utmost grace. The actress revealed how Salman would follow her around on his cycle, wherever Rekha went. This revelation by Rekha left Salman blushing.
The Bollywood beauty further went to disclose that Salman Khan had always wanted to marry her and that’s why the name of the first movie they did together was ‘Biwi Ho Toh Aisi’. Salman blushed at this and said, “Probably…that’s why I am still unmarried.”

Rekha echoed the thought and said, “Shaayad meri bhi isiliye nahin huyi…” Hmmm! Perhaps, the secret was revealed!
More Interestingly, while enacting a famous dialogue from Salman’s `Dabbang`, Rekha accidentally let out that she is scared of Big B and was quick to rectify seconds later that this referred to as Bigg Boss.
“Thappad se darr nahi lagta, pyaar se bhi nahi lagta, who toh mai bahut de sakti hu, dar lagta hai toh bas `Big B` se,” she said.
After three decades, Rekha took Amitabh Bachchan’s name publicly even though she just said ‘Big B’.
The yesteryear superstar, who is leaving no stone unturned in promoting her film Super Nani was seen having a blast on the show. The actress, who also went inside the Bigg Boss 8 house, met everyone warmly except Puneet Issar.
As it is known, during the shooting of `Coolie`, Puneet had caused an injury (accidental) to Big B, which almost turned out to be fatal. It seems like Rekha has not able to forgive Puneet after three decades. It seems some old wounds can never heal, even with time.
