TNI Bureau: Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala will leave for the United States shortly for tests and treatment. The 42-year-old actress was admitted to the Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai on Nov 28 after she fell unconscious. However, she has been discharged from the hospital and will go with her family to the US.

No further details are known as Manisha’s family members are reluctant to disclose about her illness. However, sources said that the actress is fine. She was being treated by Dr Suresh Advani, director of medical oncology at the hospital.
Manisha hails from an influential family in Nepal, started her career as an actress with Nepali movie ‘Pheri Bhetaula’ released in early 1989. However, she came to lime light in India with her Bollywood debut ‘Saudagar’ in 1991. Recently, she made a comeback with Ram Gopal Verma’s ‘Bhoot Returns’. Her upcoming films are Dipti Naval directed ‘Do Paise Ki Dhoop, Chaar Aane Ki Baarish’.
