KKR Bowler Pradeep Sangwan fails Dope Test
Pradeep Sangwan of Delhi, who plays for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), has failed the random dope test. Sangwan became the second cricketer after Mohammad Asif to fail the IPL dope test.
There have been traces of banned substances in Sangwan’s ‘A’ sample. The BCCI has already informed the Delhi and Districts Cricket Association (DDCA) about this. The test of his ‘B’ sample will shed more light on this matter.
Sangwan, who was a part of India’s winning U-19 World Cup team in 2008, plays for Delhi in Ranji Trophy. He has taken 123 wickets in 38 first-class matches so far. In IPL 6, he played just two matches against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad, but failed to get a single wicket.
