India A thrash West Indies A in T20
A superb all-round performance by in-form skipper Yuvraj Singh, has helped India A register an emphatic 93-run victory over the West Indies A in the one-off T20 match and avenge the 2-1 loss in unofficial ODI series earlier. Andre Russell made history in List A cricket by taking four wickets in as many balls, but failed to win the match for his team.
Batting first, India A posted 214/7 in 20 overs. Yuvraj scored 52 off 35 balls. Unmukt Chand made 47 off 29 balls, while Kedar Jadhav scored 42 off 21 balls. Uthappa made 35. For West Indies A, Andre Russell took four wickets. Ashley Nurse took two wickets.
Chasing a victory target of 215, West Indies A bowled out for 121 in 16.2 overs. Andre Fletcher (32) and Devon Thomas (21) were the top scorers. For India A, Rahul Sharma took five wickets. Vinay Kumar and Yuvraj Singh took two wickets each.
