TNI Bureau: After an explosive was found from the dead body of a CRPF jawan, the government has woke up from the deep sleep and committed to fight against the red rebels in harsh manner. The brutality committed by the Maoists proved that they do not deserve to join the mainstream of the society, rather strong action need to be taken against them.
The home ministry said that the battle against the Maoists is going to get fiercer and bloodier. The government has ordered to deploy another 10,000 security forces in the Maoist-hit regions of Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Bihar within next two months. With the deployment of the forces, the total number of the security personnel will be over 85,000.
The government is committed to conduct anti-Naxal operations in all the Maoist-infested districts after five jawans were killed brutally by the red rebels during an encounter in Jharkhand’s Latehar district on January 10.
The Maoists planted a bomb inside the dead body of a Jawan, who was killed in an encounter. However, the explosive device was safely removed by the help of Bomb Disposal Squad. The presence of bomb was detected when the body was sent for the post-mortem at a hospital in Ranchi. The doctors conducted an X-ray of the body on the basis of suspicion and came to know the presence of a device attached with wires inside the body.

Police said that the bomb was stitched inside the body in such a manner that it could have exploded at any place.
The brutality of the Maoists was revealed when the villagers and other security personnel, who were injured during the operations between CRPF jawans and Maoists, narrated the details of the encounter after the incident.
As the encounter between security personnel and CPI (Maoists) in which 10 security personnel and four local villagers have been killed since Monday continued in Latehar, those with injuries who were brought to Ranchi spoke up about the details of the encounter. Vijay Turi, a farmer from Amvatikar village, who received injuries in his eyes, on his face and hands, is the only one among five villagers to have survived when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) stitched into the abdomen of Baijnath Kisku of CRPF’S 112 Battalion went off on Tuesday when they tried to lift the body.
He narrated that the bomb consisted of gelatin sticks, detonator and battery in a plastic container. It was found inside the body of a second CRPF jawan from 112 Battalion, Babulal Patel. However, it was defused on Thursday morning. He had gone missing along with four jawans, who were killed in the afternoon. Their bodies were recovered the next day.
