Anand beats Carlsen in Game 3 to stay in Hunt
Former World Champion and Indian Chess maestro Viswanathan Anand pulled off a sensational win over World Champion Magnus Carlsen in Game 3 to stay in the World Championship title hunt. The first game had ended in a draw. Carlsen won the second game, but failed to counter Anand in the third game.
With this victory, Anand tried to put his disappointing defeat in the second game behind. He adopted a different strategy to put his opponent on the back foot. In the fourth game, Carlsen will have the advantage of playing with white.
