As per reports, the child was born at 34 weeks of pregnancy and weighed 1.5 kg at birth.
This one is the third issue from Shah Rukh and Gauri besides a 15-year-old son Aryan and a 13-year-old daughter Suhana.
The surrogate mother in this case is speculated to be Gauri’s sister-in-law Namita Chibber but nothing has been confirmed so far.
However, the celebrity couple has missed to celebrate birth of their baby being entangled with the controversy regarding a pre-birth sex determination test. Some media reports had claimed that the couple had conducted a pre-birth sex determination test of this baby.
Based on these media reports even an Advocate had filed a complaint with the State government as well as the BMC against the actor for allegedly selecting and revealing the sex of the fetus. Acting on this complaint, the BMC had sent a team to Khan’s residence ‘Mannat’ last month to ascertain the facts since Gender testing is banned in the country under the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Technique (PCPNDT) Act. However the team was turned away.
It seems Shah Rukh is paying for being a celebrity. He has chosen to keep silent on the present issue.
