Revolt in JD(U), as Shivanand Tiwari hails Modi
Senior JD(U) leader Shivanand Tiwari, has stunned Nitish Kumar and other party leaders and cadres at the party’s Chintan Shivir in Rajgir today. Tiwari hailed Modi’s rising popularity and slammed Nitish for his dictatorial way of functioning. He also questioned the government over the serial blasts in Patna.
Tiwari slammed other JD(U) leaders, who spoke against Narendra Modi, asking them to accept the emergence of Modi as a tall leader. Although he admitted that his party needs to fight Modi and his ideologies, but it needs to accept his strength and should not underestimate him.
“We need to admit the fact that Modi has struggled a lot and achieved big things despite coming from a humble lower middle class background. He belongs to the OBC and even sold tea, but he has created his own space in such a manner that he is being projected as the Prime Ministerial candidate of the BJP today. It would be a great blunder if we underestimate him,” he said.
Shivanand Tiwari accused Nitish Kumar of paying heed to the sycophants and said he won’t bow his head before the Bihar CM, if he goes wrong on important issues. The JD(U) cadres shouted slogans against Tiwari, as spoke all these.
