Reliance cuts 3G Tariff by 61%
TNI Bureau: The Reliance Communications (RCom) has slashed the 3G tariff by 61%, triggering a war among the 3G service providers in India. The new Reliance 3G tariff will be available at in 333 towns across 13 telecom circles in India.
The RCom 3G users will have to pay Rs 250 (earlier Rs 650) for high-speed Internet up to 1 GB usage. They need to pay 20 paisa for each MB data used thereafter. For 2GB usage, the RCom users will have to pay Rs 450 (earlier Rs 710).
Even as Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular had reduced their 3G rates earlier, they can’t match the offer made by RCom.
