Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra was very close to her deceased father Dr. Ashok Chopra, who died yesterday in Mumbai and so the actress is in grief. Bollywood fraternity did not left any stone unturned to stand by her side during this heartbreaking moment, but still she was inconsolable as she was the pampered girl of her dad.
Priyanka’s deep hearty love for her father can be guessed from the tattoo that she has inked on her wrist scribing ‘Daddy’s lil girl’.
Dr Chopra was a physician in the Indian Army. He was sick since a while and passed away yesterday at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital of cancer at the age of 62. All his family members along with Priyanka were present in his last time.

Chopra had accompanied Priyanka to Vancouver for the TOIFA Awards earlier this year despite his ill health. Priyanka, who won the best actress award there for her role in Barfi!, dedicated the trophy to her father.
Asha Bhosle, Bipasha Basu, Prabhudeva, Kunal Kohli and other members of the film fraternity took to micro-blogging site Twitter to express their condolences to Priyanka.
Several celebrities from Bollywood including Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranbir Singh, Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Madhur Bhandarkar were present in the funeral.
