Confirming the news, Bazmee informed that they are considering Rekha for the role that Mallika Sherawat had done in the original. The role is all about love-trapping both Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor. Interestingly, it is believed that Rekha is still a glamour icon, who can be put in the film, where Bachchan sir is expected to play RDX, the role that was played by Feroz Khan in the original film.
Amitabh and Rekha were seen together in Silsila (1981), three decades back. It was a film on extramarital affair that also starred Jaya Bachchan, wife of Amitabh. So, watching Big B and Rekha, sharing screen in the upcoming comedy movie, will be a sweet experience. The famous love story of Bollywood may witness a latest development after a break of 3 decades.
