Gujarat Polls: Narhari Amin quits Congress

TNI Bureau: Revolt in Gujarat Congress was seen as senior party leader Narhari Amin resigned from all the posts ahead of the Gujarat Assembly polls 2012. He resigned after he was denied the ticket for the polls.

Earlier, Amin had asked his supporters to resign from their posts in the party after Congress decided not to field him for the upcoming polls.

Amin, who is said to be an influential Patel community leader, could stand as a big hindrance for the Congress due to party’s decision.
