TNI Bureau: The inhabitants of Kantabanji put their demand before the District Administration to declare Kantabanji as a Sub-Division of Balangir District.

Dwellers of the town, accompanied by the members of two organizations such as ‘Youth Power’ and ‘Right to Fight’, sit in agitation for two hours, from 10 to 12 in the morning today in front of the District Magistrate’s Office in Balangir, to press their demand.
The agitators finally handed over a memorandum meant for the Chief Minister, to the Additional District Magistrate with the demand to declare Kantabanji as revenue Sub-Division of Balangir District.

People from Kantabanji namely Ashis khaitan, Surdash Bagh, Debara Barik, Amit Bag and Mantu Agrawal took part in the demonstration amongst others and the movement was led by BJP State Secretary Ajaya Das.
