TNI Bureau: As many as eight passengers who arrived in India from Britain tested positive for coronavirus, but it wasn’t clear if they had new coronavirus strain.
As per the reports, 5 passengers from Delhi, 2 passengers from Kolkata and 1 from Chennai tested positive for coronavirus.
Positive samples have been sent to National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) for research which will help in understanding the implications on ongoing vaccine efficacy.
