Three-Day CDPO Conference begins in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: The three-day ICDS CDPO (Child Development Project Officer) conference was inaugurated at the Convention Hall of ‘Shiksha O Anusandhan’ University campus in Bhubaneswar. Women & Child Development Minister Smt. Usha Devi inaugurated the conference by lighting traditional lamp.
While inaugurating the conference, Usha Devi said that CDPOs play an important role in implementing the integrated child development schemes in all areas. The success of all projects depend on their hard work and dedication. She urged the CDPOs to maintain utmost honesty and transparency to take the social welfare work forward.
Around 400 CDPOs across the state attended the conference. During the next two days, all schemes and projects undertaken by the ICDS would be reviewed. Among others, Women & Child Development Secretary Smt. Arati Ahuja, Social Welfare Director Smt. Sujata Kartikeyan and Additional Secretary Shri Arunanchal Das were present at the conference.
