The incident was blamed on unlawful use of mobile phones by Russian forces.

On social media, the “Ghost of Kyiv” was a military hero, an ace fighter pilot hailed for supposedly shooting down multiple Russian planes.

There is no respite from fighting and loss of lives in Ukraine although "peace talks" scheduled today may bring some positive results.
