SRK pleads Guilty for Smoking in IPL
TNI Bureau: Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan (SRK), who recently courted controversies during the IPL, has admitted his mistake for smoking in public during an IPL match.
SRK appeared in a Jaipur court yesterday and pleaded guilty for smoking in public during an IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals. SRK agreed to pay the fine for his mistake.
Shah Rukh also sought exemption from personal experience. Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Shilpa Sameer posted the matter for further hearing on June 21.
The complaint against SRK was filed by Anand Singh, owner Jaipur Cricket Academy, who sought action against the Bollywood star under section 5/11 of Rajasthan Prohibition of Smoking Act, 2000.
